Large Diameter Gear Capabilities Added at Columbia Gear

To provide its customers with a wider range of gear manufacturing capabilities, in February 2008, Columbia Gear added a 1501 Pfauter Gear Hobber.  It will cut gears up to 60” in diameter and to compliment this machine, a Gleason 1200/1480 and Gleason 1600mm gear grinder have been ordered with delivery scheduled for this spring.
